SPECIAL CASES

Some special cases are accommodated accordingly, so check to make sure the rental company you chose offers everything you need.

Young/New Drivers:

Many car rental companies lease cars to young drivers (ages 21 - 25), although most charge an extra fee for insurance. They also sometimes provide choice between fewer car groups for these ages.
A few tips for young/new drivers:

  1. Don't forget that prices don't include the additional fees charged for not being an experienced driver.
  2. The credit card charged for the rental must be under your (the driver's) name.
  3. Try not to damage the rental vehical, as the fines can be very high.

Physically Disabled Customers

Currently, in Israel the subject of rental cars for physically disabled customers is not developed and most companies don't offer special vehicals. Eldan is the only company which offers a Ford Focus family car with a hand controlled system (left hand).

Religious Customers

There are a few companies who consider the religious sector of the population and don't charge them for saturdays. These companies tend to be in areas concentrated with religious population.

Green Accommodations

Some companies offer hybrid cars or have other fitting policies.
